New Season Work Day at the Pinecliff Garden

The Branksome Park & Canford Cliffs Residents Association has negotiated a new Partnership Agreement with the Borough of Poole to continue to manage and enhance the Pinecliff Garden, known as the Sunken Garden.  We all know this beauty spot just above the Canford Cliffs beach behind the Canford Cliffs Library.

The new season will start with an open “Work Day” on Thursday morning 6th April 2017 from 10am until 12 midday.  The Borough Horticultural Officer and volunteers will be there to meet up to discuss and consider the work and planting for the forthcoming year.

This season there will be flexible working as well as a fixed day of the week set for every Thursday morning between 10am and midday.  Once registered with the RA and Poole Enviroteers  volunteers will  have the freedom to come and do their bit when it best suits them.

We have existing volunteers but we want more local people to step forward and join in as well. Some of you may want to come along for a chat, others might help with gardening and the experts can give us guidance as well as a bit practical help.

Please come and join us on the 6th April from 10am even if it’s just for a chat, and do bring a picnic or a flask of coffee if you like.  Let’s have a Gardening Party.
