Dear Members

Plans for November 22 Monthly Meeting

We are pleased to confirm that this month’s meeting will take place as usual, on Wednesday 9th November 2022.  The meeting starts at 7:30 pm, and will finish around 8:30 pm.  The usual refreshments will be available from 7 pm.  The meeting will be in the Committee Room at the rear of the Branksome St. Aldhelms Parish Centre (accessed from Lindsay Road).

There has not been much excitement since our last meeting, though the pressure continues on Burton Road and Lindsay Road.  No further news about the Rockwater project.  There has been considerable media coverage about the financial plans for BCP Council, but so far we have no specific information to report.

On a separate note!  We have agreed to show this message on behalf of the Bournemouth Male Voice Choir, which is a Charity.

Male Choir Free Open Rehearsal Day, Saturday 26th November 2022

Here’s a great opportunity to come and sing with a male voice choir. No matter what your background and musical experience you’re most welcome to join us for a free open rehearsal. Whether you’re new to choirs or you already belong to one why not come along for a free and informal afternoon of choral singing. The environment will be welcoming, friendly, encouraging and relaxed. We will learn a few songs during the afternoon (reading music is not a requirement) and there will be refreshments. Afterwards, we will put on a small concert to which friends and family would be invited. The event is not an audition. We’d love to see you there. Why not try it – see if you like it! There is no charge for the afternoon. If you wish to book a place go to https://bit.ly/bmvcsinging . Or contact: enquiries@bournemouthmalechoir.co.uk
